Typically Swiss Hotel Ermitage - Kandersteg

Absolutely loved the cozy vibe of Ermitage, especially the fine pristine views of the mountains from the balcony. Clean room with a fresh Scandinavian decor. Breakfast thrilled with a variety of local products, especially the warm bread and delicious yogurt. Dinner was another highlight, with a menu with simple yet amazing dishes. Unfortunately, we faced some noise disturbances at night as the restaurant seats were right under our room balcony. The breakfast lacked a bit of variety after a few days. A lovely spot but could use some soundproofing for the rooms to enhance the experience.

the location was marvellous and fantastic, for example, piazza del duomo was not very far from the hotel. reasonably spacious and huge room which had an individual safe, a sofa bed, and central heating. the food was delicious and there were plenty of dishes in the menu.

The staff were warm, and the dinner menu featured good local dishes. Breakfast included fresh, warm bread and a delicious variety of options, setting a positive tone for our ski adventures.

The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean, has FANTASTIC views on the mountains. The property has an unbeatable and exceptionally nice location, it's next to a cable car station. As I remember, there were lots of restaurants to eat, like Victoria Speisesaal that was only 10 minutes' walk away.

Overall it was newly furnished and huge for the bedrooms. The morning meal was delicious and sensational with sweet and local products, for example.

Cozy room, lovely staff, perfect location hotel, with a clean and modern bathroom, made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast was really good, offering fresh breads and cheeses that fueled our day of exploring the nearby mountains.

It was just a top selection for a brief visit in Kandersteg with very good value for money. The night clerk interaction was lovely, making me feel welcomed. Make sure to check on breakfast options early, as they can run out quickly.

I stayed in a Premium Double Room with Balcony for 3 nights, and it was great! Super neat room, the bed was perfect for catching some z's. Plus, the balcony had an amazing view. The bathroom was clean and modern, and I loved the convenience of the central minibar on the floor. Just a tip, try to snag a room away from the restaurant noise for a quieter experience at night! All in all, cozy stay!

The location was marvelous, just a short 10-15 minute walk from Weston Park. it was conveniently located near hiking trails and the mountain for the Alpine Slide. The variety of delicious meals was a wonderful highlight of the stay.
